I've been teaching private music lessons for over 18 years, and I also have 6 years of classroom teaching experience.

I always push my students to improve their playing at a pace that's appropriate for them. Whether we're setting amibitious goals every week or taking it easy, my role is to make sure you're always moving in the right direction.

I enjoy working with students of all ages and levels of experience. I've taught children as young as 3 years old and adults in their 60s.

"Ryan was just the teacher my daughter needed when she started playing violin at the age of eleven. She had a lot of passion and strong desire to catch up to those who had started playing at much younger age than herself. Ryan had the right amount of discipline but also fun to bring her up to speed while keeping her love of the instrument and music alive and well. He was always gearing pieces to not only improve her technique but also challenge her and keep her interested. His approach was both creative and skilled. My daughter graduated from Ryan's studio in 2020 and is now studying violin performance at USU with the Fry Street Quartet and just recently played in her first professional pit .
